🛒 Marché Forville — Cannes’ gourmet wake-up call

You can’t talk about Cannes without its market! From 7am, the covered Marché Forville overflows with sun-ripened tomatoes, fragrant basil, aged cheeses, olives and just-landed fish. Grab a coffee on a terrace, soak up the southern accent and leave with a full basket — the locals’ favourite morning ritual, and yours for the length of your stay.

🌙 The Nocturnes Cannoises — evening craft markets (season opener!)

New this week: the Nocturnes Cannoises are back! As the sun sets, artists and makers set up their stalls along the seafront. Handmade jewellery, crafts, local treats… stroll, browse and chat, ice cream in hand, in a laid-back Mediterranean-village atmosphere. Free, festive and friendly — the perfect way to stretch out the evening.

🎆 Pyrotechnic Art Festival — THE summer highlight

The moment everyone waits for all year. On Saturday night, the Bay of Cannes turns into an open-air stage: Serbia’s Pyro-Team D.O.O. opens the famous Pyrotechnic Art Festival, facing the Carlton, before 100,000+ spectators. Twenty-five minutes of light set to music and mirrored by the Mediterranean. Host tip: settle on the Croisette before 9:30pm for the best spot. And it’s only the first of six nights (14 & 22 July, 4, 15 & 24 August)!

💡 Parking tip: central car parks fill up fast on these nights — come early, or on foot.
